Welcome back! I slightly take your point about the Jagger warbling but, Sway - what a tune! Still think Sticky Fingers is their finest LP too. Apparently, all the guitar on Sway was played by Mick Taylor and when they returned to playing it live a few years back Richards had to learn all the parts cos he's not on the record. Interesting. Perhaps.
I know it's Alan McGhee - just couldn't think of it at the time. Some of you people had better watch it or it'll be all Lynyrd Skynyrd and Buffy St Marie. And before anyone else says it, they come from Florida, not Alabama, it was a mistake (deliberate of course). Amy's not sure that Billy Graham's dead but hopefully he is. I think I may have got my facts wrong regarding Primal Scream and 'that bloke from Can' but my research assistants are both off sick this week.
Eric, I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Gotta disagree with Anonymous. I'm from GA, but never really cared for southern rock. Looking forward to the next installment.
Hi Eric! Loving all these shows - only one thing would make them better - play some of your own stuff too! I'd love to get some background to the tracks of Len Bright or Captains of Industry or the Donovan of Trash - or any of your stuff really! I'm sure there's some great stories, emotions, turmoils behind some of those great lyrics? - If so - let's have 'em!!
Don't know about playing my own stuff - I might get caught up in a payola scandal - one has to be so careful when one is in the public eye... The next show looks like coming from a dressing room on the Yo La Tengo tour. I'll probably risk the payola scandal and accusations of auto-nepotism (if there is such a thing) by playing our new 45. Or I might just play a half hour of southern rock and Primal Scream.

Dear Sir,
More Skynyrd, less Primal Scream thankyou...
Thanks for the new show.
It's Alan Mcgee and the "guy from CAN" is either Holger Czukay or Jaki Liebezeit.

Oh, and it's Alan McGhee.

Hi,
Really enjoyed it all but please play more records from french car boot sales. And more Primal Scream, less Skynrd.
Hey, Eric -- brilliant show, as always. Thanks!

PS -- As far as I'm concerned, you can play as much Skynyrd as you like. You'll never get any flack from me...
Good to have you back.
How about a playlist update?

BTW, we have a mutual friend in Atlanta.
