It's always a thrill when we get to hear a new WERS episode. It's like Christmas in August.

I'm amused that you found out the Jethro Tull revelation from your mum. Demonstrates how very old we all are.

John Seabury from Psycotic Pineapple is still living in the San Francisco Bay Area, occasionally showing his artwork. Website's here:

I also noticed that you pronounce "Berkeley, California" in the English manner. The English say it BARK-eley, Americans call it BERK-eley. Perhaps this is the source of your trouble with American immigration?

I preformed the Kinks song Berkley Mews at The Greenwich Festival a couple of Sundays ago as part of Chris Difford's Songs Of London so I got used to Bark instead of Berk. I realised (sorry, realiZed) as I was saying it but by then it was too late. Berk is actually rhyming slang - Berkshire Hunt... but please don't quote me on that at this time God bless America etc.

Looks like John Seabury from the Psycotic Pineapple has a new and updated website where he sells his artwork. Hopefully you can get in touch, Eric.

Don't worry, while people who live in Berkeley get offended about nearly everything (it's one of the few small cities that has its own foreign policy) but usually not over the pronunciation of the name of the city.

I hope your immigration issues are settled soon. Hopefully you won't have to take up residence at the Charles de Gaulle Airport for the next 18 years.

Whoever may forget you, we don't. You're a high class geezer and we can't wait for another episode!

Thanks for the compliment Lightning Buck. I'm happy to say that the US embassy haven't forgotten me, my passport arrived today complete with visa. So we're coming over!

Wonderful stuff, Eric.
Selfishly, I hope that once you get over the ocean we get the show more regularly, but it would be better, of course, if your "Career" re-ignited and you had no time for such frivolity....

Please look at this when you have time:

Career re-ignited??!!? I thought I was enjoying a healthy crackling blaze. Not getting any richer though...
There should always be time for radio shows!

"Not getting any richer though..."
That's what I meant.

I suppose if I was rich I'd be obliged to spend my time counting my money...
