I loved the first show and am listening to No2 as I type. I agree with you about Kevin Coyne. Phil and I saw him at the Crooked Billet in what I believe was his last public appearance, certainly in the UK, as he died only a few weeks later. He was singing with the aid of an oxygen tank via tubes up his nose, but he was brilliant.

P.S.
A Dyfunctional Success is still available thru Amazon. If you type "Dyfunctional" in the search bar you are offered some very disturbing alternatives.....

Alastair - I played with Kevin at the Spilsby Theatre in Spalding on that last tour. He was almost on fire at times. It put me in mind of descriptions I've read of Howlin' Wolf's last shows where he had to be assisted to a seat having over-exerted himself. Kevin never gave in even though he kept having to sit down and sometimes I'd swear he was turning blue. He was a great man and very kind too - I treasure the memory of that last evening we spent together.

This radio show is just fantastic. Keep them coming. That Conie (sp?) track on the first one was terrific.
When can we expect another full record from you and Amy? I am gutted that we will be in England and Ireland while you are in the States. My usual impeccable timing.
All the best
Grahame
